Geneva, Switzerland

Overview

About this forum

The Youth Forum on UN Global Goals (YFGG) empowers youth aged 15–45, regardless of nationality or educational background, by providing access to one of the most competitive fully funded conferences in Geneva, Switzerland — bridging global policy frameworks and grassroots action.

The Youth Forum on UN Global Goals (YFGG) is designed to empower youth aged 15–45 years, regardless of nationality or educational background, by providing access to one of the most competitive fully funded conferences in Geneva, Switzerland. The forum bridges the gap between global policy frameworks and grassroots action — ensuring youth voices are heard, valued, and transformed into impactful initiatives. Hosting the Youth Forum on UN Global Goals in Geneva places participants at the very heart of global diplomacy. Home to the United Nations Office, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Trade Organization (WTO) — and within reach of CERN — Geneva offers an unmatched backdrop for mediation, dialogue, cooperation and international youth engagement. The 2026 theme — Sustainable Development, Peace & Global Cooperation — revolves around six connected pillars: • UN Sustainable Development Goals — all 17 Global Goals as the shared framework for every session, workshop and dialogue across the four days. • Youth-Led Sustainable Development — initiatives conceived, led and delivered by young people, from local pilots to cross-border programmes. • Peacebuilding & Social Cohesion — tolerance, peaceful solutions and intercultural understanding as practical, teachable skills. • Inclusive Growth & Global Partnerships — economic participation that leaves no one behind, built through genuine international collaboration. • Leadership for Resilient Futures — diplomacy, critical thinking and policy dialogue as the toolkit for leading through uncertainty. • Mediation & Alternative Dispute Resolution — hands-on ADR and mediation training as a distinctive strand of the YFGG curriculum. Joining this forum means becoming part of a global youth movement aligned with the UN Global Goals. Participants will: • Engage in UN-style global dialogue in the city where much of it actually happens • Represent youth voices on sustainable development at an international table • Build leadership and diplomacy skills through structured, practical sessions • Network with global youth leaders from every region and discipline • Gain international exposure and certification issued by CGAD • Learn from experts and practitioners working in policy, law and development • Experience cultural exchange in Geneva beyond the conference room • Turn ideas into action through SDG-aligned initiatives you take home
